Sick kids need YOU by their side.

We urgently need your support to fund 1000 nights of accommodation for seriously ill or injured children and their families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick.

Every day, families arrive in crisis, with their child facing a life-threatening illness or injury. In an instant, they are far from home, enduring sleepless nights filled with fear and uncertainty. 

It costs $160 to provide one night of accommodation, meals and support. Families stay completely free. 

Your tax-deductible donation helps keep families close, giving sick kids the comfort of having their loved ones right there beside them. That closeness can make all the difference during treatment and recovery.

Stand by George

Amanda had already lost her youngest son, Alfie, to brain cancer. Then came the call: her 6-year-old, George, had the exact same brain tumour.

Now, this brave boy is in hospital, fighting for his life.

For 244 nights (and counting), George and his family have been staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick.

As George undergoes daily radiotherapy and intense treatments, his parents draw strength from being right by his side.

Stand by Eden

For 154 nights and counting, Eden and his family have found comfort and community during their stay at the House.

While Eden battles a rare childhood cancer, Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma, his family has been able to support him at every step of his journey.

 

He’s had a tough run, battling infections and viruses as he completes another round of cancer treatment, but having his family by his side has made all the difference.

Stand by Magnus

Born prematurely at 27 weeks, baby Magnus needed immediate 24-hour care for complications with his breathing. 

For 73 nights, he and his family called the House their ‘home’ while Magnus received life-saving treatment. 

For parents Karina and Riley, being able to stay close to their little one during his intense procedures has brought so much relief.
